It Ends NOW! Anti-Bullying Network and System

Bullying has become a leading cause of youth depression, youth substance abuse, and youth suicide within communities throughout the United States. To address this disheartening epidemic, Embracing Me Youth Empowerment; Ngesus; and Wargait Media Group have developed “It Ends NOW!”, a comprehensive anti-bullying system that provides a viable solution to preventing, and responding to bullying incidents that occur on middle and high school campuses.

The system includes:

  • Training and Development
  • Campus Assessment

  • Monitoring and Surveillance

  • Anonymous Incident Reporting

  • Bullying Response and Triage

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO

The 1954 integration of public education in the United States failed to establish a sound integration plan for its African American youth. Since 1954, African American youth and families have struggled to understand how to navigate academia. For the past six (6) generations, many African American families have struggled to use education as part of their strategy for transitioning from poverty and into the middle and upper economic classes. We believe that when education and academic resources are understood and equitable; Pan-African youth are capable of succeeding and enjoying the same qualities of life experienced by many of their non Pan-African peers.

MISSION

Our mission is to create a bridge between the public education system and Pan-African families that is culturally appropriate; advocates for the academic success of Pan-African youth; and promotes academic social responsibility within the districts that serve our youth.

WHAT WE DO

Embracing Me Youth Empowerment is an academic based empowerment group that provides support, advocacy, and skills development to Pan-African youth and families. We work with school faculty and district leadership to ensure that Pan-African youth have access to equitable socio-emotional and academic development opportunities.
