Kush's Edu Tech Programs are the solution.
Core Enrichment: STEAM
(Resuming Jan 2021)
The Kush, Inc. EduTech Core Enrichment Program provides 21st century STEAM enrichment activities for students in grades 4 thru 12. Participants navigate hands-on projects to experience STEAM subjects while exploring Los Angeles. Learners work side by side with volunteer professors, experts, and graduate level students to explore STEAM from an applied perspective.

Science: Students explore scientific theories, concepts, and hypothesis via Southern California's beaches, lakes, parks, hills, forests, deserts, mountains, universities, and public venues.

Technology: Students learn applied technology by creating apps and games using Python and Java languages. Learners also learn how to build and maintain their own computers so that they can access technology from home.

Engineering: Students learn the fundamentals of engineering by designing and building robots and simple homebased gadgets using micro computer technologies.

Arts: Our Arts program is Hip Hop Centric and combines technology, art, and expression. Expert Hip Hop Artists teach youth the fundamentals of beat making, sound recording, and graphics design; while developing self expression skills via writing, photography, and public speaking workshops.

Math: Learners explore Algebraic functions thru routine activities thru cooking, shopping, and entrepreneurship.
NOTE: This program is funded by donations, sponsorships, and fundraising activities to enable Kush, Inc. to provide the services for free to its youth.
Edu Tech In Action
Edu Tech courses are facilitated using the most current technologies available to our youth. Facilitators develop pop cultural lectures and lessons that maximize learning using the same technologies that we use daily.

The “Young Moguls Program” develops entrepreneurship and networking skills. Skills are taught using various audio/video media, digital technologies, and social media platforms. Youth distinguish between the corporate and small business entrepreneurial activities. Upon completion of the program, each participant will have started, designed, developed, launched, and operated his/her own business; and will have the resources and skills needed to continue and expand their empire.
Know Thy Self: Intra-personal Skills Development more information
The “Know Thy Self” course is designed to facilitate critical thought. Youth engage in a variety of exercises and conceptual frameworks that explore the diverse thoughts and disciplines associated with discovering their inner selves. Youth will entertain the ideas, opinions, and believes of their peers and elders in order to gain a better understanding of the outer world and how they see themselves in it. The goal of this course is to encourage youth to develop a greater appreciation of the journey towards getting to know themselves and others.
